Summertime

We spent some time outside tonight after supper. It was a perfect summer evening...not too humid, not too hot, a little breeze...lovely! Drew ran around in the grass, chasing Gracie and playing with Aunt Miriam. He "helped" daddy water the garden and decided to make some puddles to splash around in. He LOVES being outside and now that he can walk, outside is a whole new world to explore!!!

Future Firefighter?

So, we have been sick this weekend and feeling like pooh, but this afternoon we HAD to get out of the house. It was a hot, windy, humid day and Drew kept pointing at the pool. I decided to fill it up a little bit and he decided to lend a hand. I think he may be a FIREMAN someday.

A Breakfast to Remember!

Tuesday evening, the three of us ventured in to the lobby of our hotel. Andy decided to go talk to the concierge about finding us a reservation at a restaurant that had character dining. Character dining is a restaurant that has Disney characters who come up to your table while you are eating and interact with your family. A pretty cool deal. We had really wanted to take Drew to a restaurant where he could get up close to Mickey and the gang. Amazingly enough, they found someone who had canceled their reservation for Chef Mickeys that next morning for breakfast.....at 7:10...ugh! But, we knew we had to do it! So, we arrived at Chef Mickey's bright and early, ready for a delicious breakfast buffet and some fun with Mickey and his friends.
