Disney World 2007 - Epcot

We had some yumo Chinese food in China....yes CHINA! At Epcot they have a place called World
Showcase. There are about 8 or 9 "countries" there, all with ethnic food, people and architechture. Very cool!
The line-up. Getting ready to ride Soarin' in Epcot. The park stayed open utill midnight that night for people staying at Disney resorts....Extra Magic Hours.
Look at those crazy kids in the back:-) Yee-haw! We took a picture of our Test Track picture. On just about every rdie they have a camera hidden in the scariest part of the ride. Well, they take your picture and in the ride gift shop, you can buy your pic....this was cheaper!!!!!Tuesday, May 15, 2007

Day Two - Ocracoke Island
Here we are on the Ferry going to Ocracoke Island. The only way to get to the island is by ferry or boat or I guess you could swim but i suggest the first two options. Anyway, we had to drive our car onto this huge ferry. I have never been on a boat like this before. The only boat I remember being on is my dad's little fishing boat he had...the kind you have to paddle! It was really fun and interesting. And we didn't get sea sick! Hehe!
This is the Ocracoke Island lighthouse. The last of the three. It was not as big as the others, but still pretty cool. It is currently being used and cared for by the U.S. Coast Guard.

Okay, so all over this island there are places where you can take your car out onto the beach and drive around like crazy people and that's just what we did. It was fun and a little nerve wracking. I felt like I needed to have a life jacket on just in case we got sucked in by a wave. Me, always the positive thinker!!! Andy had a ball and was waiting to do this all day long.
Day Two - Cape Hatteras

This is the Cape Hatteras lighthouse. It was my favorite and the tallest lighthouse in the U.S. This is not the original spot it used to sit on. They had to move it away from the beach because the beach was eroding away. Which Andy and I figured they could have restored the beach and saved lots of $$$$$. But they probably wouldn't have listened to us:-)

Here we are sitting on the steps leading up to the lighthouse. You can go up to the top, but it didn't open until April. We were disappointed.

Day Two - Kitty Hawk, NC
Day One - Bush Gardens- WIlliamsburg, VA
This was the sunset Andy captured on our way into Hampton, Virgina. We had to cross a really long bridge and go through a tunnel under the water before we came into Hampton. There was a huge port there with lots of big tanker-type ships.
This is me and my friend Pong (he's shy and didn't want his picture taken!). We were riding the Alpengiest for the first time. It's a coaster where your seat hangs from the track...if that makes sense. It was super scary, but super fun. I think this was Andy's favorite.
We figured it would be good to get our picture taken together one last time before we were hurled trough the air at 60mph. Yikes!Sunday, March 11, 2007
